The latest addition to the London Tube map couldn’t be further removed from the underground. It’s the new The Emirates Air Line – the UK’s first-ever urban cable car – conveying passengers at heights of 90 metres above the River Thames.
The total £60 million cost of the project was offset by a £36 million sponsorship, over ten years, from the Emirates airline.
