Today’s Tubespiration Example: Chesham

The longest distance between any tube stations is the 3.89 miles (6.26 km), between Chalfont & Latimer and Chesham on the Metropolitan Line.

So, if you are doing the long journey to Chesham you need to be motivated to go there. (It is by the way a great stop for those wanting to enjoy rambling in the nearby Chiltern Hills.)

A great tip if you are enagaged in something big is to ask: ‘What does this mean to me? If you find there is little to motivate you, you then need to inject meaning in your task, otherwise you will either fail to complete or do it half-hearted.

• Is there any meaning in the task you are planning to do?
• If not, is there something else you care about that you can link to the challenge of completing this task?
• What is the furthest you have gone for somebody?
